A FREE LOGIC PROGRAM FOR FACULTY
If you are faculty of a philosophy department and would like a free 690+ MB copy of the logic program (running on Windows only) covering the material listed below, just send your name and college or university e-mail address to rod.freeman@logicalreasoning.net, and we will e-mail you instructions for downloading an iso image of the program. The program contains 14 chapters, 7 sets of randomized examinations, 14 sets of randomized graded exercises, and other exercises as well. It covers material in Basic Concepts, Language and Logic, Fallacies, Symbolic Translation in Propositional Logic, Truth Tables, Consistency Trees, Inductive Logic, Syllogisms, Venn Diagrams, Proofs: Main, Proofs: Other, Quantification Theory Translation, Quantification Theory Proofs: Main, and Quantification Theory Proofs: Other.
The program will take at least 30 minutes to download, and a few minutes to copy to a CD-ROM disk, but we have been using it for some time now in logic classes and believe you will enjoy it as much as we do.
